Shenyang Dongda Sensor Technology Co., Ltd., formerly known as Northeast University Sensor Factory, specializes in custom design, research and development of high-end temperature sensors and temperature measurement technology. Dongda obtained its "Measurement Instrument Manufacturing License" in 1993 and established its initial Research & Development Lab and manufacturing plant at Northeastern University in Shenyang, China, and obtained its "New National Product Certification" jointly issued by five top agencies including the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology in 1996. In 1999, the Company was reorganized and registered as Shenyang Dongda Sensing Technology Co., Ltd., known as Dongda Sensor.
Dongda Sensor is headed up by its Founder & CEO, Professor Kuihan Wang. As a nationally recognized leader and senior expert in the field of temperature measurement. Professor Wang is an active participant in the preparation of national and industry standards. As a nationally recognized high-tech enterprise, Dongda Sensor has assembled a talented team of industry experts and senior engineers, many with PhD and Master level university degrees. Leveraging this high level of competency, Dongda has a core advantage in its ability to develop innovative high-end custom temperature sensors to meet customer needs.
Dongda Sensor has built a strong reputation for its ability to take on challenging problems and come up with innovative solutions that deliver against client parameters, all while adhering to industry standards and best practices. Dongda is a leader in the temperature instrument industry, and a preferred supplier in the heat treatment industry. To date, Dongda has been awarded 32 patents, with many of its products deployed in broad range of applications among industry leading companies in China and major global clients worldwide.
Professor Wang Kuihan graduated from Metallurgy Department of Northeastern University. For many years, he has devoted himself to the research of composite materials, new temperature sensors and practical temperature measurement technology, effectively developing critical anti-oxidation technology for tungsten-rhenium thermocouples. He has also developed a variety of high-temperature resistant, corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant materials, and invented molybdenum-based cermet protection tubes, successfully used for continuous temperature measurement of high-temperature molten salt, copper and copper alloy melts. Professor Wang has won the first, second, third, and fourth prizes of the former Ministry of Machinery, Ministry of Metallurgy, Nonferrous Metals Corporation, Liaoning Province, and Shenyang City Science and Technology Progress Award item. He has published more than 100 papers in major journals and magazines in China and abroad; including "Temperature Measurement Technology", "Thermal Testing Technology", "Industrial Process Testing Technology"; participated in the editing of "Metallurgical Physical Chemistry Research Methods", among others; translation Author of Iron and Steel Metallurgy, Physical Chemistry of Metallurgy, New Materials for Opening Up the Future, among others.
